AITP Chicago Chapter Meeting & CISO Presentation on Cybersecurity
401 S State St
Chicago, IL 60605
Topic: Cybersecurity Leadership in 2020: Are you ready?
Cybersecurity is now a household word, as only those still living in caves have not had to replace a credit card due to a data breach. Information security is a real profession now, with college programs offering bachelor and master’s degrees in cybersecurity. Knowledgeable organizations see the security threat as a top 5 risk. The presenter has held senior security leadership roles in 7 large organizations over the past 20 years, and has authored 3 security leadership books on this journey – so what can we learn from the past? This presentation separates hype from reality as we look back and examine history to determine what we need to do to be successful in the future.
This is a catered event that includes dinner, beer, wine and soft drinks.
