The PMO SIG through this forum will promote the value of project management as a vital contributor to an organization’s strategic goals, competitive advantage, and success. Recognizing the critical interrelationship among project, program, and portfolio management disciplines and related areas such as Change Management, Risk Management Stakeholder Management and Governance, the PMO SIG programs will be broadly constructed to encourage membership and participation from practitioners in all of these disciplines.

Recognizing that there are numerous accredited third party sources for PMO training, certification and bodies of knowledge, this SIG will provide formal programs and sharing of experiences that encourage excellence in practical application of PMO.
