Zoom Chapter & SIG Meetings - Hot Topics

Currently we are offering approximately 8 monthly Chapter Meetings each year covering a wide variety of hot topics.  Most of these meetings will be recorded.  We have restarted in-person meetings so meeting may be In-Person, Virtual via Zoom , or Hybrid - see www.aitpchicago.com for the current list. 

Archive - Special Benefit for AITP Chicago Members Only -Virtual Meetings, Presentation Documents & Articles

In Response to Covid-19 we began a series of Virtual Meetings using Zoom.   These meetings have and will be recorded and made available to AITP Members after login.  Currently there are 60+ recordings. The archive will eventually include copies of documents related to the recordings and well as other presentations and articles of interest to technology professionals.

Shared Interest Group (SIG)  meetings let your staff exchange ideas with their peers.  Our SIGs allow smaller groups to dive deeper into specific technology areas. These groups meet 2-4 times per year and meetings can feature roundtable discussions focusing on solving member problems or provide presentations addressing specific areas of concern.

Discounts and Complimentary Registrations - Members receive discounts for Chapter events that provide lunch or dinner (SIG events are usually free) and members also often receive discounts and/or complementary registrations at events and conferences of our partner organizations.

Award Programs provide opportunities for you and your staff to be recognized for your – and their – accomplishments. Currently, there are three programs:

• CIO of the Year – co-sponsored with SIM Chicago and the Executives Club of Chicago
• CISO of the Year – co-sponsor with the CISO Dinner Group, ISSA Chicago, ISACA Chicago, InfraGard Chicago and SIM Chicago
• Most Effective IT Team Award – sponsored by AITP Chicago
