AITP Chicago Meeting - Metrics that Matter

  • Tue, September 12, 2023
  • 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM

You're Invited to an Informational Virtual Meeting (see registration information below)

Topic:  Metrics that Matter

Metrics is a required component of a data and analytics capability. However, data and analytics metrics are rarely well defined or integrated within overarching organizational metrics. A key to working with metrics is understanding the  difference between leading (activities and events that precede desired outcomes) and lagging (end-state objective) indicators.  It is also critical to put data and analytics metrics into the “causality chain” of metrics.  This chain links metrics in each initiative to the data to analytics metrics and then to the process performance metrics of the organization.  Creating a metrics framework will support your data and analytics capability.
